Allergies on Vacation

Our family went for a short vacation to Sesame Place, just for a few days. The hotel was great, but had wall-to-wall carpeting (never allergy friendly). Each morning as my son woke, his eyes were more puffy. Each day he was more tired and irritable. By the last day he was exhausted. His two year old sister was fine, but it took so much out of him. It reminded me that he is really not like other kids and I have to respect his limits. Short vacations are best.

After some research I also found out some hotels are offering allergen-free rooms. There do not seem to be too many yet, but a website lists hotels and locations that offer these rooms www.pureroom.com.
